The new Wonder WomanOn the heels of the successful “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” television series, the Fox Network is banking on another teenage superhero drama to help their beleaguered fall lineup. Wonder Woman will be returning to the airwaves this fall with a brand new attitude. In fact, kind of a bad attitude.

 

“We went with the teenage angst meets superhero perfection concept,” says a senior Fox official.

V100.7 Jams, #1 for hip hop and R&B, formerly known as the people’s station, ran out of programming for its “All Hip Hop Holiday” promotion. The official word is that V100 decided against only playing holiday music for the month of December because “It ain’t true to the spirit of the station, though we all love Christmas jams.” Anonymous sources, however, indicate the ill-conceived plan did not take into consideration the complete lack of hip hop Christmas material.

Michael Redd, recently in the news because of his assessment that he should have been chosen as an NBA All-Star, also believes that the Bucks should be in the playoff hunt. Michael is hoping that with pressure from himself, his teammates, and people from Milwaukee, the NBA will take notice that a team such as the Bucks should not be passed over when it comes to playing in the playoffs at the end of the season. “I worked hard over this past summer, as did many of my teammates, and I just think that sometimes a person’s hard work needs to be recognized by others. And that’s why I should be an All-Star, and the Bucks should be in the playoffs.”
